On the move in the Netherlands

Hi everyone,
Here we are again on the move again.
We had a reunion with some of the first people that had stayed with us in Australia 2000.
We went to a very big camping in Hook van Holland ,where the sand was very very fine, and the beach was lined with very tiny huts in all colours about 12 of us went to a restaurant called the
Pit inside was a massive Pitza oven where the cooks made as many varieties of pizzas ,there were lounge chairs to sit in and also outside on the verandah,it was a bit windy so we all sat inside and enjoyed the company of old friends,and new ones
At our friends holiday house they had made a bar outsided deviding the neighbours place ,we were aloud to carve our names into the wood ,they then burnt it into the wood so it will remain forever,it was a sentimental feeling to know that after all these years Rien and I are in the hearts of people on on the other side of the world ,it was a nice gesture for us to write our names in the wood.
Rien and I had a lovely time there ,fom Hook van Holland we went to Heenvliet To stay with our friends Hank and Rita they had visited us twice 2000 2003 ,and we had visited them last time we were in Holland,A barbeque was arranged in the beautiful setting of their camping site where they live permanently,when you look out the window you see a living painting of beautiful living scenery,we all had a great time telling stories from our past.we will spend some time there before moving on.

Hello Rien and Linda,
I went to the Pit last friday by bike !!
And...the marriage of Roel and Saskia is at the "Viersprong" , the restaurant just at the traffic lights at the beginning of the road to the beach, 20th of September....you have to stay a bit longer hahaha.
